Environmental factors play a part in approximately half of all falls that occur at home. Sometimes falls can be caused by slipping and tripping hazards, other times a simple routine such as stepping into a house or shower can cause a homeowner life-changing injuries.
Incorporating preventative measures such as grab bars or half steps into a person's routine can keep them mobile for many years to come.
