Tim Dunkin (Chair)

Dunkin Works – Facilitator, Coach & Trainer

Tim Dunkin is co-owner and founder of DunkinWorks, a management consulting firm specializing in the public and non-profit sectors for the past 22 years.  Tim is committed to transforming organizations and individuals with a strong focus on high performance.  Tim is currently Chair of RTSV’s Board of Directors and has served since 2013.

Cheryl Johnson (Vice Chair)

Swinerton Builders – Director of Preconstruction

Cheryl Johnson is Director of Preconstruction for the Silicon Valley region for Swinerton Builders and has been with the company for over 20 years. Cheryl works closely with the project team and interfaces with Swinerton operations, estimating, and scheduling resources to ensure that the project is continually exceeding financial and schedule considerations. She is a graduate of California State University-Fresno with a BS in Industrial Technology, Construction Management. Cheryl has served on the Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley Board since 2016.

Roger Tricco (Treasurer)

Self-employed – Investment Manager

Roger Tricco is an Investment Manager and Trader who has been associated with RTSV for over 12 years.  He started as a volunteer on Rebuilding Day, before becoming a House Captain for 11 years.  Currently in his second term on the Board, Roger has co-chaired Paint the Town and is now the Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair and has served since 2013.

Denia Leal (Secretary)

San Jose Water Company – Vice President – Human Resources

As Executive, Special Projects with San Jose Water Company, Denia Leal brings her business development and HR skills to the Rebuilding Together Board. Dee started at San Jose Water Co. in 1992 as an HR and Safety Training Specialist and remained in HR until 2017, when she transferred to Special Projects. She holds a M.B.A. in Business Administration from San Jose State University, and a B.S. in Business Administration from San Jose State University. Dee has served on the Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley Board since 2016.

Derek Cushieri

Avision Young – Associate

As an Associate at Avision Young, Derek Cushieri specializes in Office and R&D landlord/tenant representation and investment sales. Derek previously worked as an Associate Broker at Transwestern and was a Superintendent with Built With Principle. He is a credentialled Real Estate Salesperson and speaks Italian. Derek has served on the Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley Board since 2018.

Siobhan Dye

NetApp – Senior Manager, Public Relations

Siobhan Dye is Senior PR Manager at NetApp and a communications and marketing professional with over 15 years of experience in government and community relations. She previously worked for Chevron in their Chevron Humankind program, designed to match employee financial contributions, give grants to nonprofits for employee volunteer time and provide company-sponsored volunteer opportunities. Siobhan is a graduate of Santa Clara University and has served on the Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley Board since 2013.

Christopher Long

Sheppard Mullin – Associate Attorney

Christopher Long is an Associate Attorney at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP where he is a member of the private wealth and fiduciary litigation practice with more than eight years of combined experience in law firm, municipal, in-house, and judicial settings. Prior to joining Sheppard Mullin, Christopher was an Associate with Hopkins & Carley’s Trust and Estate Litigation practice, and with Burke, Williams & Sorensen, where he represented public agencies in both federal and state courts in all stages of litigation, including trial. He also served as Deputy City Attorney for the cities of Pacifica and St. Helena and has extensive experience with the California Public Records Act. Christopher holds a B.A. with dual majors in Political Science and History from New York University, and a J.D. with a concentration in Intellectual Property Law from Loyola Law School, Loyola Marymount University.

Steve Martinez

Bank of the West – SVP, Business Banking Regional Manager

Steven Martinez is Senior Vice President and Business Banking Regional Manager with Bank of the West. In his role as Regional Manager, his team of Relationship Managers is responsible for meeting the financial needs of business clients in the San Francisco Bay area. He has worked for U.S. Bank as District Manager in the Silicon Valley and for Citibank in their Commercial Banking and Business Banking groups, both in New York and California. Steve also serves on the Board of Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley and the Advisory Board of Working Solutions. Additional volunteer activities have included working with Special Olympics, Junior Achievement, Second Harvest, TeenForce, Habitat for Humanity, and Pride Parade. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Southern California.

Maureen Mellon

Mellon Consulting – Principal

As a Consultant at Mellon Consulting, Maureen Mellon helps teams define their vision, mission and strategy, creates business plans, and more. Previously, she was Sr. Director of Product Management with Neato Robotics and held the same position at Plastic Logic. Maureen worked on a PhD in Computer Networks and Systems at UCLA and holds a MSEE in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University. She joined the Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley Board in 2018.

Patricia Narciso

Children’s Discovery Museum of SJ – Director of Development & Marketing

Patricia Narciso is the Director of Development & Marketing at the Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose. She previously served as Director of Fund Development at The Health Trust. Patricia holds a MA in Latin American History and Politics from Stanford University, and a B.A. in Communications & Political Science from Syracuse University. Patricia joined the Board in 2018.

Paula Pineda

Market Rise, Inc. – President

Paula Pineda is president and founder of MarketRise, Inc., specializing in marketing and communications consulting. Previous to starting MarketRise, Paula held several leadership positions including Catasys, VP of Marketing, SAP, Director of Channel Marketing, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Director of Business Development. She holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Santa Clara University and joined the Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley Board in 2018.

Emily Ransone

SideMark – Principal/Owner

Emily Ransone is Co-Owner and Principal at SideMark, a leading office furniture dealer in the Bay Area. Emily has supported organizations as a speaker and facilitator including CoreNet, CREW, Lean In Circle and RED. Emily brings people together, as she fosters conversations to drive results for clients, industry partners, the SideMark team, and Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley. She is heading up the Paint the Town committee, RTSV’s annual fundraising event which brought in over $100,000 in 2018.

Leonel Soto

Heritage Bank of Commerce – Vice President/Relationship Manager HOA Specialty Banking

Leonel Soto’s banking career began 20 years ago with Heritage Bank of Commerce as a Cash Management Officer. Since then, he has managed client portfolios with two other community banks in the San Jose area, including Focus Business Bank. Currently Leonel is VP of HOA Specialty Banking. Leonel and his wife Kristina have been married for 11 years and are raising their 3 kids in San Jose. They enjoy their free time taking the kids to their sports and activities. Leonel has served on the Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley Board since 2017.
