National Rebuilding Month is an annual month-long call to service during April culminating on the last Saturday of the month when 130 Rebuilding Together affiliates across the nation complete repairs on homes, nonprofit facilities, and community spaces. Learn more here.
Rebuilding Together SIlicon Valley offers two Rebuilding Day home repair blitz events, pulling together hundreds of volunteers and dozens of sponsors to repair and rehabilitate nonprofit facilities and the homes of low-income homeowners. In April and October, our Rebuilding Day program provides major and minor repairs and renovations resulting in life-changing improvements for the homeowners and organizations served. As houses are transformed, neighborhoods and communities find hope and pride restored.
In 2020, Spring Rebuilding Day will be held on Saturday, April 25 and Fall Rebuilding Day will be held on Saturday, October 24. Volunteer sign ups open in early March for Spring Rebuilding Day and late August for Fall Rebuilding Day. Go to our volunteer page to find dates for upcoming volunteer opportunites.

Rebuilding Day Impact
Every repair project that we undertake is unique. Each work site comes with a different history, unique needs, its own scope of work, and a dedicated volunteer team. Any volunteer, age 14 or older, is invited to volunteer to make a visible, life-changing impact in their community. As we work to revitalize Silicon Valley communities, we also provide a positive team building volunteer experience for our sponsors and community partners. The result of months of planning, evaluating, training, and coordination is a lasting impression and life-changing experience for both our volunteers and the families and individuals that we serve.
There are many ways to get involved with Rebuilding Day, and each is critical to our mission to serve our community. Without our sponsors, we cannot fund our projects…without volunteers, we cannot perform our work…and without clients, we cannot serve our community. However you can help, we thank you for being a part of our mission!
