WHY IS VOLUNTEERING SO IMPORTANT?
Home by home, block by block, Rebuilding Together is rebuilding homes and communities nationwide. Since 1991, Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley and it’s volunteer Green Team has provided extensive home rehabilitation and modification services to homeowners in need.
Our network of almost 130 affiliated nonprofits brings together 75,000 volunteers and completes nearly 10,000 projects each year. With the help of 3.4 million volunteers, Rebuilding Together has delivered over $1.3 billion in market value since its founding. Rebuilding Together continues its mission of seeking to provide a safe and healthy home for every person.
VOLUNTEERING DURING COVID-19
We are being mindful of the restrictions on group gatherings during the coronavirus pandemic. Safety of homeowners, volunteers and staff is of utmost importance to our organization during this crisis. We are putting processes and procedures in place in order to protect against the transmission of the coronavirus.

SAFE AT HOME
Central to our vision of a safe and healthy home for everyone, Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley’s Safe at Home program addresses home repair and maintenance issues that may otherwise present a safety risk or that limit mobility for a resident. Our Safe At Home Green Team volunteers assist our technicians on Thursday afternoons in minor home repair projects either on-site or out of our warehouse.
Every fourth Saturday of April and October, Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley offers home repair blitz events, pulling together hundreds of volunteers and dozens of sponsors to repair and rehabilitate nonprofit facilities and the homes of low-income homeowners. Our Rebuilding Days provide major and minor repairs and renovations resulting in life-changing improvements for homeowners and organizations served. As homes are transformed, neighborhoods and communities find hope and pride restored. Are you interested in joining us as an individual or sponsoring a project?
Fall Rebuilding Day is Saturday, October 22nd!
